When I got this book I thought it would be more about the creepy stuff thats hidden underground. While there is some of that its much more about building the tube and what happened to the rivers. ( )

Not a very inspiring account ( )

I'm fascinated by industrial architecture, and this look at what's beneath the streets of my birth place, London, is very interesting. ( )
